It is raining cats and birds!

These past three weeks nothing much happening with the trash dump, so I decided to look at my surroundings. On September 27 in the morning, I decided to throw the trash. The outside was wet and cold because of the rain. It was peaceful, calm, quiet and like no worries at all. Then, I went back into our house because it was freezing cold. The next day my siblings and I went outside. This was in the afternoon, so the sun had risen. The street was still wet though. Then, this cold breeze of air just pervaded all around me. It was the smell of rain or petrichor. I just had a nostalgic memory of me playing in the rain. Feeling like no worries at all, being a kid with nothing to think about. At this moment I've just realized that I love rain. And I questioned myself: What the heck am I living in this desert land? I should move to Seattle instead.

The next day(Monday) it was freezing cold. There was a smoke coming out my mouth, in my terms that means it is cold outside. I heard birds chirping like talking to each other or more like "tweeting" to each other. I like hearing birds in the morning, but sometimes they are annoying especially if you are sleeping. I wonder where would they live when autumn comes and sweeps the leaves out of their homes. Poor birds. On October 13, there was a black cat outside my door and started meowing at me. For some people black cats are bad luck, but I guess we'll see. Bring it on mister unluckiness.

The weather is turning out great; not too hot nor cold. This Tuesday someone threw a door. I love seeing weird things in the trash dump. Last time was a mattress now a door?! I hope I'll see something weirder next time. Back to the birds story. For some reason they disappeared. I don't know where they went, and I don't know their species yet. Fortunately, this Friday I found them flying from trees to trees like no worries at all. This made me compare myself to them when I was a kid. Children don't care what is happening around them; they just play until they get tired. Like birds they just fly and fly until their wings stop flapping. Like the bird do your full potential; don't let someone tell you had enough because who knows you more than yourself? No one. Be the bird my friend.

  1. Great blog, loved how you compared yourself with the birds. But indeed rain is beautiful, who doesn't love rain. You should research what type of birds you've been observing.
